Lost Daycare Lunches

I must admit that poor honey's lunches have been a little on the boring side. She gets a pretty sandwich but then the rest of it is pretty well tossed together. I still stick to my old daycare formula of something else for lunch, fruit and yoghurt for morning tea and a snack with sandwich for afternoon tea. Here's some of the Nude Food Movers Rubbish Free Lunchboxes she's been taking.
Sinchies yoghurt pouch, beetorrot & tomatoes, pretzels, CuteZCute tiger sandwich, milk Juice in the Box, kiwi and strawberry salad.

Fruit salad, dip, crackers, CuteZCute koala sandwich, beetroot, yoghurt.

Sinchies yoghurt pouch, spaghetti, cucumber and cheese, cow sandwich, milk Juice in the Box, watermelon and rockmelon.

Sinchies yoghurt pouch, pies, popcorn, sandwich, watermelon

Sinchies yoghurt, cheese, pasta with peas and corn, crackers, sandwich, strawberries and blueberries.

Sincheis yoghurt pouch, dinner leftovers (beans, carrot, baby corn, rice and BBQ chicken drumstick), ANZAC biscuits, sandwich, cheese/ham flower, mandarin/blueberry flower, milk Juice in the Box.

Sinchies yoghurt pouch, spaghetti, ANZAC biscuit, crisps and sip, sandwich, strawberries

Pumpkin soup, ANZAC biscuit, sandwich, yoghurt, apple flower, juice in our Juice in the Box.

Ham & cheese flower, banana, sandwich, yoghurt and corn on the cob.

Cheese, crackers, ham flower, dinosaur sandwich, pasta leftovers, yoghurt, kiwi fruit and strawberry flower.

Ham & cheese 'monster' croissant, picklet, sandwich, juice in her Juice in the Box, yoghurt, strawberries.

Popcorn, sandwich, yoghurt, watermelon balls, pies.

Hearty Lunches for my Loves

We are all down with variations of the flu at the moment and I'm finding it rather difficult to get creative with the girls lunches. Good thing I have a backlog of lunches to share!

These were sent the last day of book week. Miss M has yoghurt, strawberry hearts, popcorn, juice, and sandwich with heart cut out and '<3 2 read' with picks.
Do you think I got away with using my 'S' backwards as the '2'?
Honey & I usually have a 'Friday pie-day' so she had some party pies, heart sandwich, popcorn, strawberry hearts and yoghurt.
The heart sandwiches sucked up nicely in her Nude Food Movers.
To make the most out of the bread I made an extra heart out of the scraps, creating a 3-slice sandwich.

Mickey Mouse Lunches

Miss M's show & share theme was Disney characters last week. She was very excited to take along some of the Disney food picks from my collection.

I used the CuteZCute cutter to cut out a shape and coloured in with FooDoodlers for this lunch, served with popcorn and strawberries. not pictured are the yoghurt pouch and drink box she took as well.
I haven't gotten around to sharing this lunch yet either so thought I'd pop it in. We went through a few of the Lunchbox Love Notes a little while back and this was one of my favourites.
Do you know the answer?

Yours and Mine Octopi

Have you entered to #win one of four starter packs from Juice in the Box yet? Time is running out, today is the last day!!! Hurry and get your entry in! See this previous post for details!

This was the last lunch I made for the girls while they were in daycare together these school holidays. Honey has been learning about sea creatures in her room and I thought it high time I made something fishy for her ;-)
And one of Miss M's favourite daycare foods was cheerios which I would often cut into 'onto-dogs' and haven't done for *ages* so took the opportunity.
I love how the mandarin I tossed into the sands of our Nude Food Movers look like tentacles creeping out too!

Don't forget our Juice in the Box GIVEAWAY in this previous post!  Last day to enter!!

Did you enjoy Honey's Thomas the Tank Engine lunch the other day? (read all about it here) Well I couldn't send Miss M off to Prep without including her in the fun!
Spiral 'train wheel' sandwich, popcorn, grapes and yoghurt. A nice little snack for on a train I think. Add a milk Juice in the Box and a Thomas sandwich and you're all set for a tooting good time ;-)

Don't forget to check out this previous post with all the details you need to enter and WIN a Juice in the Box starter bundle! Hurry! Ends this weekend!!

Thomas the Tank Engine Daycare Lunch

All aboard! Did you know that Thomas the Tank Engine is 70 this year? He's in pretty good shape don't you think? All the more reason to celebrate him in a lunchbox!!

I've used the Thomas pasta before as a bit of fun for both the girls. Today it was honey's turn to take it for lunch. She also has a Thomas shaped egg, coloured with FooDoodlers.

That egg mould I also used to create Thomas sandwiches! I felt so very clever!!

What do you think? Perfect to accompany Honey's yoghurt, mandarin, popcorn and Juice in the Box milk, right?

Don't forget to read up on this previous post about how you can WIN a Juice in the Box starter bundle to help keep your little ones chugging along ;-)

More Minions

Have you seen the new Minion movie? We are hoping to make it to the cinema while Miss M is on holidays but the days are filling up fast!

I'm back at work now and last week there was a late notice bring a plate morning tea. Rather than trying to bake with two tired munchkins we decided to make Minion Jelly instead! That was the inspiration for their lunches the next day.

I just happened to have some dinner rolls and I wanted to make a dinner roll Minion for the last lunch I made. This one is topped with nori and some mini marshmallows coloured with FooDoodlers. There's also a quickie cheese art to top her 'back up' sandwich ;-)

A golden kiwi fruit.

Minion coloured popcorn.

Miss M had her Minion jelly in a Sinchies food pouch and milk in her Juice in the Box. All this packed into her giant Nude Food Mover Lunch Pack.

I couldn't let Honey go without joining in the fun too. She's got milk in her Juice in the Box too, yoghurt and jelly in the snack pods.
The blue hadn't really set and I didn't let the yellow cool enough to get a nice clean line between the two, but no one seemed to mind :-)

More Minion popcorn and a pear for snacks.

Some mini pies and sauce in the container for lunch. Ham, cheese and FooDoodler details.

Do you like the look of those Juice in the Box drink containers? Stay tuned for more details including a review and giveaway launching this weekend!

Bunny Bottom Snack Box

Wishing you all a safe and happy Easter!

This little snack box of popcorn was easy to decorate with a little sticky tape and a texta pen. The gold coin was a donation for Free Dress Day at school.

Cross Sandwiches

Miss M asked for a cross sandwich so this is what I made. The perfect opportunity to try out our Nude Food Movers Lunch Pack which I've had since last year but hadn't played with yet.
A simple cross and some brain break popcorn in the sandwich size boxes. Some grapes & blueberries in one of the snack size boxes.

I replaced the other snack size box with a  Sinchies pouch of yoghurt and a milk popper.
This is another simple cross I made one night when I was feeling a little less than creative. Served in Nude Food Movers Rubbish Free Lunch Box.
