Possum Magic Lunches

Well it has been an age since I've posted here properly and I think I've figure out how to make the most of the technology at my hands now.… I *think* ;)
Tomorrow is Mayflower's first day at kindy and in between my happy dance I made these 3 Possum Magic inspired lunches for the girls.

Sandwich with FooDoodler Hush sliding down a kangaroo's back, made with a sandwich stamp and star cookie cutter. Some star sprinkles added and stuck with butter.

Mango...yum

Lamington roll and mini meringue kisses

Last minute addition of pasta salad to go with some carrot and cucumber

I was really happy with how the star sprinkles worked in the big girls wraps

Miss M has same same as Mayflower with cucumber ad milk popper in the compartment not pictured from her Nude Food Movers

And Honey chose to keep her Sistema Quaddie again this year. Same same packing wise.

Belated Happy Australia Day!!

Monster High Party

Honey decided she wanted to celebrate her 5th birthday Monster High style! Originally I was happy and excited to be able to go to my local department store and just buy one of everything in the party section for the Monster High brand, but turns out they're not as popular as they once were and most of the goodies were discontinued and no longer available :(. So I hit up google and pinterest to find all sorts of lovelies and got to work customising them to make her day that little extra special.

We made photo booth masks from here and here

We played pin the bow on the skull based on this image

And I made food tents from the fan art from here and cupcake wrappers from here

Activity wise we had nail art (of course featuring my favourite Jamberry lacquers

A colouring station

A tatto station

And a card making station

The cake was the same mix as the patty cakes/zombie cakes, which also made an appearance at Kindy this past week. My first ever attempt at a marble and now I know I need to marble more ;-)

Happy 5th birthday my little Honey Bee!!!

Christmas Lunch Round Up

Both the girls got Santa bellies today, inspired by a beautiful bauble I picked up at the local Christmas Markets

Love heart Santa <3

Honey asked for a Santa Pirate. . . as you do!

Room on the Broom Christmas lunch.

The Grinch inspired simple lunch

And a pirate for Miss M's Pirate Day at school. There was also a large morning tea/picnic with families this day, hence the skimpy lunchbox.

The Very Cranky Bear Lunch

Honey loves her Very Cranky Bear books so I made her lunch about it.

Moose was made with cheese, sultanas and a cheerio; lion was nori and a corn cob; sheep CuteZCute egg mould; zebra from a banana and Bear a CuteZCute sandwich with FooDoodlers. She also had a bag of animal biscuits for snack, mandarin flower and yoghurt.

All in our Nude Food Movers.

Flutterbat Lunch

One of Miss M's favourite episodes of My Little Pony right now is the Flutterbat episode. I made this lunch in the lead up to Halloween, but Friday the 13th seemed just as appropriate to share :-)

The same week I also made an Apple Jack lunch for her, with most of the same ingredients.

Halloween Lunches

We didn't really go all out with Halloween lunches this year, but I did make the girls little Jack-o-Lantern lunches for Honey's last day of the week.

Miss M had pumpkin scone with FooFoodler detail, passionfruit with yoghurt, sandwich and a Lindt ball and juice in her pimped Juice in the Box.
Honey also had a Jack-o-lantern sandwich and a pumpkin scone. The rest of her lunch consisted of leftovers, yoghurt and watermelon.
Miss M had show & share on Friday and the theme was 'Favourite Food'. She decided cake was her favourite food, so we whipped up a batch to share and I used our trusty Lunch Punch to give her one in her lunchbox too :-)

This was one of my lunches for the week.

Blinky Bill Lunch

I'd hoped to take Miss M to see the Blinky Bill movie over the holidays but we didn't quite make it there. No reason she couldn't have a Blinky Bill lunch though!

Yoghurt, Lamington (very Australian!), mandarin with tree and koala pick and CuteZCute Koala.

The same day Honey took a rice panda, mini lamingtons, CuteZCute koala sandwich, mandarin flower and yoghurt.

Wockets and Dragons

The last of the Book Week lunches that I haven't gotten around to posting yet.

Miss M had just recently read 'Wocket in my Pocket' at school. This was one of her favourites when she was younger. I think she just liked all the funny names in it and hearing Mr Loving & I say them!

I was put onto a great app - Camera Lucida by some of my Bento Bloggers & Friends. Gee it makes this drawing business easy! More like tracing which is more to my skill level!

And of course I had to include Stormfly from How to Train Your Dragon for Miss M too!
Next time I think *I* will choose the image to trace. This one was a little difficult!
