April Fools Ham & Cheese Biscuits

Yesterday I shared an April Fools Muffin Tin Meal. These are the Ham & Cheese thumbprint biscuits that made an appearance. You can find the recipe I followed here.

Happy almost Wordless Wednesday :-)

I found it quite difficult to pipe these as there was so much fat in them. Perhaps it was because I used pre-grated cheddar cheese

My half teaspoon measure made a perfect imprint

I used my Cube-It to portion the cheese. I then realised the cubes were too big, so each one was cut into  eighths.

First bake done & to be honest, these could be enjoyed just as they are (after they've drained on kitchen paper - can you see all the fatty bubbles?)

I also made some in a mini-muffin tin but didn't bother to pipe them

I used a mix of mozzarella and red leister cheese for the second bake.

I added some pizza sauce to a few, I'm glad I did :-)

All done!

Do drain these on some paper towel as soon as you can, speaking from experience ;-)

Have you entered our competition to win a Kambrook Quatro Multi Cooker yet?
Just in time for Mother's Day. . . I'm just saying. . .
