Mummy Lunch - Mexican

Leftovers reign supreme when it comes to Mummy Lunches in this house. One of our current winning meals is Mexican wraps/fajitas.

These square silicone muffin moulds fit beautifully into my Tupperware Sandwich Keeper Plus and they mean that I can heat separately whichever ingredients I choose. They contain from top left:
Mexican mince; shredded cheese; sour cream; salsa.

Also included in this lunchbox is lettuce, some lamington bites and a Mintie. You can also see my Sistema Cutlery to Go in the left hand compartment. I love this set! It lives in my lunch bag :-). Not pictured is the tortilla used to wrap this up.

    1. Thank you Sarah! The banner is a photo of my little miss cuddling her lunchbox in our backyard. I really didn't plan that her outfit would semi-match the blog colours, really!

  2. I love bento lunches, and I'm umming and ahhing and umming and aahhhing over these tupperware boxes. Do your silicon holders, stay relatively well put in the lunchbox? Or do the 'inners' cross over a bit?

    Thank you!

    1. My silicone muffin liners are from the $2 shop so I'm not sure how standard the sizes are. One thing that's good about them being silicone is that you can 'smoosh' them in to fit. As you can see in the pic they don't all fit in perfectly square, but this is perfect fro what I use them for.
The Tupperware sandwich keeper plus was a my standard lunchbox when I had a 45 minute lunch break but now that I've changed hours & only have a 15 minute break I tend to use my Decor Quarters or a stacking Bento box (from Omai Australia - I featured them in my Lions, Tigers & Pandas . . .Omai! write up last year).
One thing I struggle with in the Tupperware is finding inners to fill it, especially when I'm wanting to take something out to re-heat, or if I'm wanting to put something like yoghurt in. I know they say the lids are liquid tight, but my box has been around the block a bit & is no longer sealing correctly. That & I just feel safer having something liquid in it's own container.
Sorry for the long-winded reply, I hope it helps :-)
