Cute Z Cute

I can't believe I've only just realised I haven't posted any CuteZCute lunches (with the exception of the Ewoks from my Revenge of the Fifth post), so to celebrate this great cutter I've decided to dedicate this week to CuteZCute :-)

I was lucky enough to win one of these cutter sets late last year as we were in the midst of Christmas & moving house, so a belated thank you to Sarah from Bentoriffic and JeeJee from CuteZCute for a fantastic prize!

As you can see the set comes with one outer cutter & four 'face-plates'. These are double sided so you can cut, or stamp.

My first try at using this I ended up squeezing four shapes from two slices of bread, although the last piece was made from assembling offcuts (bottom right in this picture)

I then used the stamp side of the panda. . .

. . . and the cat. Of course these would have been perfect as is, however. . .

I wanted to try the cutter too, so I cut some ham & laid it over the stamped impressions. As you can see I then struggled to figure out how to pop them into our regular sandwich container (a Tupperware square rounds) but I've since come across a better idea. Stay tuned this week for some more CuteZCute, well, um. . . cuteness :-)

CuteZCute is available in Australia through Neat2Eat and internationally through Bento USA
